Director General appointed by the Government heads the Institute. He is assisted by an Additional Director General and three Directors .The Institute has an authorized manpower of 117, and posted strength (as on 01 November 2003 ) of 81. In addition to the faculty experts, professionals and resource persons with specialization and experience in the field of broadcasting, communication, film etc. are always invited from home and abroad for rendering instructional services.
